Aorta provides information, hosts exhibitions, debates and lectures about (modern) architecture.

All year round, Aorta also holds architectural tours which cover various themes such as De Uithof, Leidsche Rijn, Modern architecture in the city centre, the Rietveld legacy, Amelisweerd, Stadsontwikkeling (City Development) and the Stadshuis (Town Hall). As part of these tours, professional architecture guides provide extensive background information about historical, urban and architectonic developments.
